Anniesland area of Glasgow.  Anniesland Cross is the main hub  for local shops,  restaurants,  pubs and  other local retailers.  It is close to Glasgow's West End and  is situated north of the River Clyde.  Anniesland is surrounded by other areas including Jordanhill, Knightswood, Kelvindale, Temple Bearsden and Hyndland.

Anniesland  has a railway station whcih is close to Anniesland college, The High School of Glasgow and Laurel Park sports centre.  Great Western Road, (A82) runs through the heart of Anniesland and heads North to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs.

Anniesland is close to Gartnavel Hospital and is also home to a large health club, a major supermarket and a selection of workshops with a vairety of skilled businesses.
